The other day it was so hot that the electrical systems in the middle of town exploded and the major shopping street was without electricity for four days. Many stores closed, others used portable generators or tried to carry on without light. Before Christmas, I was picking my son up from school just minutes before the street buckled from the heat, resembling a skateboard ramp.]]></description>
